Goal Rush

A 3D football game played on your TV, with your phone as the controller.

Goal Rush is a 3D arcade football game for one to eight players. The pitch is on the big screen and every player controls one footballer from their phone. Friends are split into two teams and play each other. When you play alone, you get a computer team-mate and two computer opponents.

How to play Goal Rush

  1. Run with the thumb stick. Run onto the ball and it stays at your feet while you dribble.
  2. Tap Shoot for a quick shot, or hold it to power up a harder one. The shot goes where the stick points.
  3. Tap Pass to play the ball to the team-mate the stick points at.
  4. The first team to three goals wins. If the score is level after two minutes, the next goal wins.
  5. Everyone on the winning team scores the same points.

Controls

A thumb stick to run and aim, a Shoot button you can hold to power up, and a Pass button. Your phone shows your team colour and which way you attack.

Tips

  • Bumping into the player on the ball knocks it loose. Defend by getting in the way.
  • Shots aimed roughly at the goal are nudged on target, so aim first and then shoot.
  • Pass before a defender reaches you: the pass goes into your team-mate's path.

Start Goal Rush in three steps

  1. Open ourconsole.in on a TV or laptop and press Host a game.
  2. Connect each phone to the same WiFi and scan the QR code on the screen.
  3. The first player picks Goal Rush from the menu on their phone.
